“So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.” – Hebrews 10:35ff.

How quickly I dwell on my own set of circumstances and let small things discourage me. I forget those who have gone before me and endured all kinds of hardship (Heb. 11:33ff) : prison, being chained, stoned, sawed in two, put to death, living in caves…all for staying true to what God had called them to.

I can place my confidence in Christ, knowing that he holds my reward. He’s my biggest fan! The things I endure, pale in comparison to the heroes of the faith. I will not grow weary! I will not lose heart!
