Hard to believe it’s been 7 years since I’ve been on staff at Gateway. One of the rewards of working hard for 7 years at Gateway is that our employees are offered time away to recharge, refocus, and prepare for another intense season of ministry. Today begins my sabbatical break and I’m looking forward to spending time connecting with God, my family, and friends. One of the things our family decided to do each week is find someone to serve. Today my daughter decided to bake blueberry muffins for the disabled people who live across the street. She was able to provide hope and encouragement to 2 people who society has kicked to the side. It’s fun to see a 6 year old serve our neighbors.
