Today we had a family devotional during lunch where my family discussed our identity being more than our hair color, who our friends are, where we live. If we follow Christ, our identity is as adopted children of God. Think about that… we are sons and daughters of the most high God. So my wife and kids shared the fruit we see in each other from being children of God: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self-control. It’s a sweet thing to encourage each other with words of truth that come from staying connected to God.
