Inspired by the book Guerrilla Lovers by Vince Antonucci, my daughter and I decided today to serve those who serve us. This morning we got up and made breakfast tacos for the garbage men. As we waited for the men to make it down the street, we talked about how important their job is. My daughter said, “Daddy, what if they stopped picking up the trash? We’d live in a pile of garbage.” As the men arrived at our house, we gave them breakfast tacos and thanked them for serving us. We often overlook the importance of their role, but I thank God for the men who serve us each week.
